arrgh idiots!

Arrgh time to moan. Sorry to anyone who wanted to read a semi decent blog. Over the next week sometime I'll go back and fill in the last couple of weeks, sorry just been tired.


Today some idiot thought it would be fun to paint my tyres and hubcaps with lime green enamel house paint. I was parked in a pay and display carpark in town. What sort of immature little idiot does that .... do you get up in the morning and think "hmm I think I'll paint some random strangers new car today"??? Arrgh, anyway they got a little bit on my car too, but not much. Its annoying though cos they've messed up my car, and that kind of paint doesn't come off easily. Plus I went thru a carwash in an attempt to try and get some of it off, and my car actually came out dirtier after the carwash than before. How the hell does that happen???

Well tomorrow will be a better day ... why... because i decided it will be. On the plus side, I did have gymnastics today. And tomorrow I have some fun What Now work to break up my busy afternoon. :-)

The unbeatable bar tab that didn't run out (including spirits)! *** The margaritas as you walked in the door *** Josh trying to hook into Rachel no matter how much she pushed him away *** Being one of the few that took command of the dance floor half the night *** Me and Rachel being twirled and spun by our lovely choreographer Matt *** seeing people do a double take when they saw me in a dress (that was the desired effect!) *** having fun with all the people I'd spent the last few months of my life with *** hot chips at 5am, and coffee at 6am ... the list goes on.

Yeah so it was a good nite :-) As you can tell, it was quite an entertaining night, its a shame I can't playback a video of the night. It was my first ever proper wrap party ... I missed a lot of others so I well and truly made up for it that night. Hmm maybe a little too much ... I stopped drinking when I tried to walk down the stairs and they kinda merged together, haha. It's over

2 months of pre-production, 5 weeks of filming ... another movie done. Hmm it seems like only last week I was looking forward to my weeks and weeks of pay going into my account ... I'm not sure quite what happened there, but I seem to have acquired more clothes, food, random stuff, been out drinking more, and still have my debt. dammit!

Well tonight is the wrap party, and it's gonna be an awesome nite! It's little black dress nite for me :-) Hmm mite try to get a photo and put it on here, we'll see. I decided its definitely an excuse to get dressed up and go out ... and shock people who have only ever seen me in jeans or shorts and singlets, etc at work. It's half the fun ... seeing dropped jaws, or hearing "damn I didn't recognise you". Here's hoping it works! haha, gotta have some fun sometime.

The end of a job signals either the start of a new one, or the start of the search. For me it's both. I've got bits of work ... mainly transcribing (to be translated as "slave labour for shitty touchdown tv pay", and promo work every now and then. I'm also following up several leads of work. There's plenty of low budget stuff out and about, but I want to get into doing commercials, and then hopefully one of the 3 leads I'm following up will eventuate and I'll end up either on a feature film, or overseas for a few months. fingers crossed!

Hmm I think its time for food, and sitting here eating chocolate doesn't really count. I'm sure I'll have some tales of the wrap party in days to come ... if I can remember them, or haven't blocked them out. :-)
